Agility

A  Beginner's guide to Companion Events AKC state:  "Running a dog in an agility trial is the ultimate game for you and your dog, and is one of the most exciting canine sports for spectators.  It's an activity that strenghens the bond between dog and handler and provides fun and exercise for both, which might explain why it's so enjoyable to watch and has become the fastest growing dog sport in the United States.

Guide your dog over jumps, into tunnels, on and off contact obstacles and through the weave poles. The object of the game is to complete the course as fast as you can without errors.

Dog Agility is a fascinating and challenging sport - one that may be hard to stop once you start!

AKC Agility is open to AKC registered purebred dogs or registered mix breed dogs through the Canine Partners Program.

To see these dogs in action, be sure to stop by our Spring Agility Trial!
